Join us at our new Screen Printing Technology Center at SPSI Arlington, TX office. We’ve expanded our warehouse with a showroom full of screen printing equipment.
The 301 Advanced Screen Printing seminar was designed to help screen printers take their skills to the next level. Led by Tony Palmer, Palmprint Consulting and Kevin Kauth, Chromaline Products they will cover proper screen room set up, screen making, set up on press, printing wet-on-wet, squeegee blade selection, 4 color printing, simulated printing and more advanced screen printing techniques.
It doesn't matter your skill level whether you are a manual or automatic printer. Tony and Kevin will teach you the techniques you'll need as you advance your screen printing knowledge and skills.
Pricing: Register by October 28 - only is $79 per person
after the 28th it will increase to $129. per person

Importance of proper set up in the screen room, coating screens, exposure times, mesh counts, and screen room automation - 11:30am-12:00pm - Set up on press - Start the process from moving from screen room to on press set up.
- 12:00pm - Break for Lunch - Catered lunch
- 1:00am-2:00pm - Set up on press -continued- Tony will start off with proper set up on a wet-on-wet job

Set up on press / Using the skills we have explored in the previous sessions, we will explore how to determine optimal color order and blade selection. On press settings can ensure a smooth print run with minimal spread and pick up. We also will explore how the flash settings and pressure adjustments can make a job run easier. Tony has more than 30 years experience in garment decoration ranging from manual screen printing on hand carousels to the operation of multi-color automatic presses. He has helped shops all over the world elevate their 3 P's (processes, production, and profit) Tony comes to the United States quarterly and his appointments are scheduled through SPSI.

Kevin Kauth, Chromaline Products
Kevin Kauth is Chromaline’s Technical Sales Representative for the midwest/western region and has been with the company for the past 13+ years. Prior to his time at Chromaline, he held the Applications Specialist position at Sefar. His extensive knowledge base for mesh and emulsion provides the perfect combination of screen room support and he continues to give back to the screen printing community by teaching numerous seminars on the topic as well as being active in the Apparel Decorators Committee for Printing United Alliance.

We have no hotel rooms blocked off but there are a number of great hotels in the area. Many of us are staying at the Aloft Hotel in Arlington, it is close to the office and a nice affordable, clean hotel.
