Thermotron KL-60 Automatic Sealing Machine

The Thermotron KL-60 Automatic Sealing Machine is a professional garment packaging solution designed to automatically seal plastic bags containing folded apparel with adhesive tape. Engineered for high-volume apparel production and fulfillment operations, the KL-60 helps automate the final stages of garment packaging while providing clean, consistent, and professional bag closure.

The KL-60 can receive garments that have been folded and packaged using the Thermotron STP1000 Automatic Folding Machine and PV40 Bagging Machine, creating an integrated folding, bagging, and sealing workflow. The machine can also be manually fed by an operator, providing flexibility for different production environments and packaging configurations.

For greater packaging versatility, operators can select between one adhesive tape strip positioned in the center of the bag or two adhesive tape strips positioned along the edges. The machine can be adjusted to accommodate different plastic bag configurations and supports bag widths ranging from 16 to 38 cm (approximately 6.3" to 15").

With a maximum production output of up to 15 sealed bags per minute, the KL-60 is designed to increase packaging efficiency while reducing the amount of manual handling required during garment finishing. It accommodates packaged garments up to approximately 8–9 cm (3.1"–3.5") thick, making it suitable for a variety of folded apparel.

The KL-60 can operate as part of a complete Thermotron garment packaging system or be configured with other Thermotron equipment. When combined with the MT1775 garment conveyor, the system becomes the KL60M configuration. It can also be integrated with equipment such as the PV40 bagging machine and BC41M barcode printing and labeling machine for a more comprehensive automated packaging workflow.
