CCI EnviroStrip Emulsion Remover - 1 Gallon
Natural iodine-based, biodegradable emulsion remover formulated to quickly break down photopolymer, diazo, and capillary film emulsions while remaining safe for use on all types of screen printing mesh.
Characteristics
CCI EnviroStrip Emulsion Remover is a screen reclaiming solution designed for fast and economical removal of screen printing emulsions. Part of CCI's EnviroLine®, EnviroStrip uses a natural iodine-based formulation with natural enzymes that help break down emulsion during the reclaiming process.
Designed to remove photopolymer, diazo, and capillary film emulsions, EnviroStrip begins breaking down the stencil after application so it can be removed from the mesh with high-pressure water. Its formulation is safe for use on all types of screen printing mesh, making it a versatile reclaiming chemical for production screen rooms.
EnviroStrip can be applied directly to wet screens after ink, tape, and blockout have been removed. The product is applied to both sides of the screen, scrubbed with a non-abrasive pad or brush, and then thoroughly rinsed with high-pressure water.
The formula is also well suited for dip-tank reclaiming applications. For dip-tank use, EnviroStrip can be diluted with water at ratios up to 10:1, providing an economical solution for shops reclaiming larger quantities of screens.
With its biodegradable formulation, easy application, broad emulsion compatibility, and ability to be used in both manual and dip-tank reclaiming processes, EnviroStrip provides screen printers with an effective solution for routine stencil removal and screen reclamation.

- Remove ink, tape, and blockout from the screen before beginning the emulsion-removal process.
- Wet the screen before applying EnviroStrip.
- Apply the solution to both sides of the screen for complete coverage.
- Scrub the screen with a non-abrasive pad or brush to help the solution penetrate and break down the emulsion.
- Allow the product to work only until the emulsion has softened sufficiently for removal.
- Rinse thoroughly with high-pressure water, working from the bottom of the screen upward.
- For dip-tank applications, EnviroStrip may be diluted up to 10 parts water to 1 part product.
- When using a dip tank, allow screens to dwell only long enough to soften the emulsion for subsequent rinsing.
- Do not allow loosened emulsion to accumulate unnecessarily in the dip tank.
- Always follow CCI's current Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet for handling, dilution, application, and disposal instructions.
