Characteristics
CCI ENVIROWIPE® Nature’s Press Wash is a soy- and citrus-based screen printing cleaner formulated for removing ink from screens without attacking the emulsion. Designed as part of CCI’s Enviroline® chemistry collection, ENVIROWIPE is especially suited for plastisol ink and provides an effective solution for everyday press-side cleaning and screen maintenance.
Designed for press wash and spray-and-wipe applications, ENVIROWIPE can be applied to both sides of the screen and wiped or squeegeed away until ink and cleaner residue have been removed. Its emulsion-safe and mesh-safe formulation makes it useful when cleaning screens that will be saved and reused rather than immediately reclaimed.
ENVIROWIPE features a low-odor formulation with high ink-loading capacity, helping reduce the amount of cleaning chemistry required during routine production. For more efficient screen cleaning, CCI recommends removing excess ink first and using a non-absorbent scrub pad to help liquefy the remaining ink before collecting it with a squeegee and wiping the screen clean.
In addition to press-side cleaning, ENVIROWIPE can be used as a parts wash or in compatible recirculating cleaning systems. When used as a recirculating cleaner, the solution can continue to be circulated until it becomes heavily contaminated with solids and may be filtered for reuse when appropriate.
ENVIROWIPE is also effective for removing pallet and belt-printer adhesive. For adhesive removal, CCI recommends applying the cleaner to the adhesive, allowing approximately 30–90 seconds of dwell time, and then removing the softened adhesive with a scraper, towel, or rag.

- Card or scrape excess ink from the screen before applying ENVIROWIPE.
- Apply ENVIROWIPE to both sides of the screen for press-wash applications.
- Use a non-absorbent scrub pad to help liquefy and loosen remaining ink.
- Squeegee the loosened ink toward one end of the screen before wiping it away to help reduce rag usage.
- Continue wiping or squeegeeing until ink and cleaner residue have been removed.
- ENVIROWIPE can be used in compatible recirculating cleaning systems until the solution becomes heavily contaminated with solids.
- Used recirculating solution may be filtered and reused when appropriate.
- For pallet or belt-printer adhesive removal, apply ENVIROWIPE and allow approximately 30–90 seconds of dwell time before removing the adhesive with a scraper, towel, or rag.
- Dispose of used chemistry and contaminated materials in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
