Characteristics
The Blue Block-out Tape – 2" x 36 yd Roll is a durable screen printing tape engineered to seal screen frame edges, block out unwanted open mesh, and prevent ink from leaking into non-printing areas during production. Designed for excellent adhesion and clean removal, this tape helps maintain sharp prints while reducing cleanup time and material waste.
Manufactured with a flexible polyethylene film backing and a strong pressure-sensitive adhesive, the tape conforms easily to aluminum and wood frames while resisting ink penetration, moisture, and reclaiming chemicals encountered during normal printing operations. Its bright blue color provides excellent visibility, making it easy to identify masked areas during setup and reclaim.
The 2-inch width is ideal for sealing frame rails, covering damaged mesh, blocking registration marks, and masking pinholes or unwanted stencil openings. The tape removes cleanly after production without excessive adhesive residue, helping speed up reclaiming and screen preparation.
