CCI CG-3 Press Wash / Recirculating Screen Cleaner is a professional screen printing cleaner formulated primarily for the cleanup of plastisol ink. Designed for versatile use throughout the screen printing process, CG-3 can be used as a press wash, screen opener, screen wash, and recirculating cleaner.
CG-3 is ideal for press-side cleaning during continuous printing and for removing ink from screens when the emulsion needs to be saved for future production. Its high-solvency formulation helps break down and remove ink efficiently while remaining safe for both screen mesh and emulsion.
The fast-drying formula leaves no film or oily residue behind after cleaning. This helps leave cleaned surfaces ready for subsequent production tasks and provides a clean surface suitable for tape adhesion.
In addition to screen and press cleaning, CG-3 is an effective cleaner for removing pallet and belt-printer adhesive. Its multiple-use formulation makes it a practical chemical for screen printing shops looking to consolidate several common cleaning operations into one product.
CG-3 can be used manually with a brush or handheld sprayer and is also suitable for recirculating machines, dip tanks, and precision immersion cleaning processes. In recirculating applications, the product can continue to be used until it becomes heavily contaminated with ink solids, and used solution may be filtered and reused where appropriate.

- Remove as much excess ink from the screen as possible before applying CG-3.
- For press washing and screen opening, apply CG-3 to the squeegee side of the screen.
- Scrub the ink with a non-absorbent pad until the remaining ink is liquefied.
- Wipe away dissolved ink and residue with clean rags or towels.
- Reapply CG-3 as necessary to remove remaining ink from the image area.
- To reduce rag usage, use a non-absorbent scrub pad to loosen the ink, then use a squeegee to move the ink toward one end of the screen before wiping it away.
- In recirculating systems, CG-3 can be continuously reused until the solution becomes heavily contaminated with solids.
- Used CG-3 from recirculating applications may be filtered and reused when appropriate.
